Kathrin Hölzl
Kathrin Hölzl (born July 18, 1984 in Berchtesgaden, Bavaria[1]) is a German alpine ski racer, the gold medalist in the giant slalom at the 2009 World Championships.
Hölzl also competed in the 2007 World Championships, placing sixth in the giant slalom. She made her World Cup debut in December 2001 in Val d'Isère, France. Her best season on the World Cup circuit was in 2007, when she finished 5th in the standings in the giant slalom.
Hölzl scored her first World Cup victory in a giant slalom at Aspen on 28 November 2009.[2]
